A professional Christmas stylist designs and installs your entire festive scheme, so you don't have to. At Aurora Luxe Designs, that means an in-home consultation, a tailored concept and colour palette for your rooms, sourcing every decoration and piece of foliage, and a full white-glove installation — trees, mantels, tablescapes, entrances and staircases. And it goes far beyond the tree — we design garlands for staircases and mantels, wreaths for doors and windows, styled dining tables, entrances, hallways and living rooms, right through the whole home if you wish. In January we return to take it all down and store it. Unlike buying decorations yourself, a stylist designs your home as one cohesive look, so every space flows together rather than feeling assembled piece by piece.
Our Signature collection starts from $1,500 AUD and covers one focal feature, such as your tree or a key living space. Our Statement collection starts from $4,000 AUD and styles your main living areas as one cohesive scheme — tree, mantel, table and entrance. Bespoke whole-home and estate projects are quoted by consultation. Your final investment depends on the size of your home, how many areas you'd like styled and the pieces chosen, and is always confirmed in a written proposal before any work begins. All prices are in Australian dollars.
Both. We can supply a real or a premium artificial Christmas tree as part of your styling, whichever suits your home, your budget and how long you'd like it to last. If you already have a tree you love, we're very happy to style that instead — many clients do exactly this. The same applies to ornaments: if you have heirloom pieces with sentimental value, we'll design the scheme around them so the new and the cherished sit together beautifully. And the tree is only ever the starting point — most of our clients have us style well beyond it.
The tree is just the beginning. We style whole homes if that is what you would like — draping garlands along staircases, banisters and mantels, hanging wreaths on front doors and windows, designing your Christmas dining table down to the napkins and candles, and dressing entrances, hallways, living rooms and outdoor spaces. We design room by room as one connected scheme, because a home feels genuinely magical when the look flows from your front door all the way through, rather than stopping at a single decorated tree in the corner. Equally, if a beautifully styled tree is all you are after, our Signature collection is exactly that — every home is styled to the scale you want.
We style private homes right across metropolitan Melbourne, including Toorak, South Yarra, Brighton, Malvern, Armadale, Hawthorn, Kew, Camberwell, Albert Park, Fitzroy and Docklands, as well as the Mornington Peninsula. Regional Victoria and interstate projects are welcome by arrangement — just mention your location when you enquire and we'll let you know availability for the season.
If you love how your home looks at Christmas but not the ladders, the tangled lights, the shopping or the pack-down, then yes. You're paying for a designer's eye, access to quality decorations, and a season where the most beautiful room in the house simply appears without you lifting a box. Most of our clients tell us the real value is the time and mental load it gives back to them in the busiest month of the year — and that their home finally looks the way they always imagined it could.
Our packages are provided on a hire basis for the season, which is what allows us to offer exceptional quality pieces and a completely fresh look each year. We install them, remove them in the new year and store them for you. If you fall in love with particular pieces and would like to keep them, that can be arranged under a separate purchase agreement — though some key items may be exclusive to our hire collection and unavailable to buy.

The terms on which Aurora Luxe Designs provides its Christmas styling services.

These Terms and Conditions govern the styling services provided by Aurora Luxe Designs (ABN 84 228 217 907) ("Aurora Luxe", "we", "us" or "our") of Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. By paying a deposit or otherwise engaging us, you ("you" or "the client") agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.
These terms, together with your written quote or proposal, form the agreement between you and Aurora Luxe. Where there is any inconsistency, your accepted quote prevails to the extent of the specific services and pricing described in it.
Quotes are valid for thirty (30) days from the date issued unless stated otherwise. A booking is only confirmed once you have paid the required deposit and we have confirmed your booking and installation date in writing. We accept a limited number of bookings each season and cannot guarantee availability until your deposit is received.
You have a cooling-off period of three (3) calendar days beginning on the date your booking is confirmed (the date we receive your deposit and confirm your booking in writing). If you cancel within this cooling-off period, you will receive a full refund of your deposit. This cooling-off period is offered in good faith and is separate from any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law.
If you cancel within the three (3) day cooling-off period described in clause 4, you will receive a full refund of your deposit.
If you cancel after the cooling-off period but before the day of installation:
Where you have paid your balance and then cancel before the day of installation, your deposit is treated in accordance with the terms above, and we will refund the balance amount you paid, less any costs we have reasonably incurred for stock, foliage or bespoke items ordered for your project.
No refund is available for cancellations made on or after the agreed installation date, as the services will have substantially commenced.
If we need to cancel your booking for reasons other than your default, we will refund all amounts you have paid for services not yet provided.
Any change to the agreed scope, styling, locations or dates must be agreed by both parties in writing. Changes may affect the price and the installation date. We will always try to accommodate reasonable requests where our schedule allows.
To allow us to install and remove your styling safely and on time, you agree to:
Delays or additional visits caused by access issues, or by conditions not disclosed at the time of quoting, may incur additional charges or require rescheduling.
Installation and removal dates are agreed with you in advance. Removal (take-down) usually takes place in January by arrangement. Where agreed, we may store hired items between seasons on your behalf. Reasonable notice is required to schedule your removal and any storage.
Our packages are provided on a hire basis for the season. Unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing, all decorations, trees, foliage, lighting and props remain the property of Aurora Luxe Designs. You must not sell, sub-hire, alter or permanently attach these items, and you must return them to us (via our removal service) in the condition supplied, allowing for fair wear and tear.
If you would like to purchase items from your styling because you love them, this can be arranged under a separate purchase contract, which requires a new agreement to be signed and additional payment for all items purchased. Please note that some key items may be discontinued or otherwise unavailable, and where this is the case those items cannot be purchased.
On the day of installation, we will provide an itemised product schedule (an inventory spreadsheet) listing all items installed at your property, which you will be asked to sign. This schedule forms the record of what has been supplied to you.
While the items are at your premises, you are responsible for their care. If any items are damaged or missing, you agree to pay additional charges to cover their repair or replacement. Following removal, we will reconcile the returned items against the signed schedule and notify you of any damaged or missing items and the applicable charge.
These charges must be paid within seven (7) days of our confirmation that items are damaged or missing. Charges not paid within this period may be increased to cover the additional recovery and administration costs we incur.
We recommend you check that your home and contents insurance covers hired items while they are on your premises.
Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. For major failures you are entitled to a remedy, and for other failures you are entitled to have problems rectified within a reasonable time. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy you have under that law.
To the extent permitted by law, and subject to clause 11, our total liability arising out of or in connection with our services is limited to re-supplying the services or paying the cost of having the services re-supplied. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.
We may photograph or film completed installations for our portfolio, website and social media. We will not publish your name or address without your permission. If you would prefer we do not photograph your home, please let us know in writing before installation.
All concepts, designs, mood boards and other materials we create remain the intellectual property of Aurora Luxe Designs and may not be reproduced or used to engage another provider without our written consent.
We are not liable for any delay or failure to perform caused by events beyond our reasonable control (including extreme weather, illness, supply shortages or emergencies). Where such an event occurs, we will work with you to reschedule or, where that is not possible, refund amounts paid for services not provided.
We handle your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. If you have a concern, please contact us first so we can try to resolve it. You may also seek assistance from Consumer Affairs Victoria. Any dispute will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria.
